Who We Are
Dua Foundation, a non-profit, apolitical and non-sectarian organization, is committed to supporting the humanity with special focus on the underprivileged communities throughout Pakistan in order to bring ease and comfort in their lives. Founded in 2014 in Karachi by a group of compassionate social workers, the Foundation is officially registered under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 with the Government of Sindh. The Foundation operates under the guiding principle of “Serving Humanity Without Discrimination,” and is focused on delivering essential services and assistance to individuals, irrespective of their ethnicity, religion, caste or creed.
Since its inception, Dua Foundation has carried out numerous groundbreaking projects for the welfare of the people of Pakistan. These projects encompass a wide and varied range of areas, including Water and Sanitation, Health & Nutrition, Agriculture Development, Poverty Alleviation, Education, Disaster Relief, and Environment & Climate Conservation. The Foundation believes in working in close, sustained collaboration with the communities, stakeholders and partners to implement sustainable initiatives that create a lasting positive impact for the most vulnerable populations.
From establishing Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) to developing more than 60 agro farms in Tharparkar, and providing over 3,000 water facilities that benefit nearly 900,000 people, Dua Foundation is making a tangible impact. The Foundation also strives to play a significant part in improving Karachi’s environment through well-planned and sustained plantation drives across the metropolis.
