Free Medical and Circumcision Camps
Recognizing the need to provide essential healthcare serves to underserved communities, Dua Foundation organizes free medical and circumcision camps in katchi abadis (informal settlements) of Karachi and rural areas of interior Sindh. These camps offer medical consultations and circumcisions for children up to 12 years old free of cost, with male and female doctors available to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
At each camp, attendees receive free medicines and are offered complimentary on-site blood sugar and hemoglobin tests to facilitate immediate health assessments. To further promote community health, the camps feature informative sessions in both national and local languages, raising awareness about common health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, tuberculosis, and hepatitis B & C.
Through these initiatives, Dua Foundation seeks to improve access to healthcare, promote preventive health practices, and empower communities with the knowledge to better manage their health and well-being.
